Indies to develop software system for Indian Navy

Indian Navy appointed Indies Services as its software system service provider for a new project. Indies is going to design, develop and implement the software system in this project. The project is for Warship Overseeing Team (WOT) of Indian Navy.
The project, titled as “Digital Asset Enterprise Management System ”, is actually to track the progress of all stages of warship vessel building process. The tracking includes physical progress of the unit as well as financial status of the same.
Till date the WOT of Indian Navy was using MS Excel to maintain the record which now not possible because of increasing number of data and complex relationships between them. “There are many excel files at present in which we maintain a huge pool of data. It’s now tends to impossible for us to relate the data and to search for desired output. The new system will enable us to track the vessel status and find all necessary data of all departments of WOT at single click”, said a Navy Official.
Indies already started the work on this multi-tier network application and will submit the final documentation covering system requirement specification and detailed design document very soon.
